Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you and yours, wherever on the globe and grid you may be. Here at the Studio we’ve got three things going on.

First, we’ve got the last pose in the Easy set, Easy Four, up for sale. This is the sexy, jaw-dropping NYE after-party look, and Trinetty captured Rylan Carling and Sixx Yangtz in a little celebration time. Thanks to them both for posing!!

Second, we were asked to be a last-minute fill in for the new incarnation of Stumblebum, and we’re overjoyed! We got all dolled up, and came up with Marionette for you. Odd angles have this set feeling both natural and alien at the same time. Would love to see what you do with these poses! The event runs through the 15th.

 

 

And a little note that the With Love, Again hunt is coming to a close January 6. Be sure to stop by the Studio and grab this gift for only 10L. It includes two couples poses and the chair prop.

Thank you all so much for a fabulous 2011. This year is going to be really exciting, there are 4 different events/happenings in February that oOo Studio will be participating in.  Ola is taking January off, but rest assured you’ll see plenty of newness in February!

The Easy Life

Howdy pose fans! While everyone is no doubt out shopping to pick up the latest gadget and newest whirligig, add the Studio to your list. This week we’ve got all sorts of things to announce!

Easy Two is available in the Sits gallery, where you can also test out Easy One from last week. The second in the series, Two is wintery wonderland with a warm friends pose that comes with two different options for her. Trinetty has done a fab job of showing the chair in the wild, and I can almost smell snow and the chill in the air.

We are now a few days into our “10 Days of Gift Giving”…

Group members are the people who support my business the most. THANK YOU for your kind words and your spreading the word that the Studio is a good thing. Every day there will be two more poses out under the tree located on the second floor in the singles area. Wear your group tag and click a box that has hovering text. They’ll be ready to go daily at 6pm SLT through the 27th.

Group members are getting six of the 7 poses available in the Cheesecake set. This is a set of pinup style poses inspired by the art of Olivia de Berardini. She is well known for sensualizing the female form and Ola has tried to be true to her style and aesthetic.

Following Cheesecake, there is another set of pinup-inspired poses because Ola was so thrilled with Trinetty’s treatment. Called Bauble, these are classic shapes, and some use the included mistletoe sprigs and Christmas ornaments for props.

Both of these sets are available for purchase and/or gift giving exclusively at our LE.LOOK location. There’s some fantastic shopping to be done there, so be sure to add it to your destinations list.

Sunday started another Fashionably Late week, and we’ll be there with a set called Gifted, this is another must have for your holiday posing!

And finally, don’t for get – The With Love, Again Hunt continues through the first week of 2012, and there’s such amazing offerings!

Studio News!

New in the Studio this week is part one of a 4-part series of poses centered around a gorgeous easy chair, Easy One. We’ll release one of these a week for the next four weeks. It’s color change — burgundy, green, brown and cream — and each one will contain a different couples pose. Trinetty Skytower has been busy for me with tons of pictures! Just wait to see.

Going on now is the With Love, Again hunt. It includes the burgundy color of the same Easy chair, with two couples poses. This hunt is a way for designers to say thank you to their customers, and we want to say thank you to everyone who has stopped in, bought poses, and/or participated in hunts and events. I shot two warm, Cozy images for this, the Cozy gift offering. It’s $10L through January 6th.

AND GUESS WHAT?!?!

Group members this month will get all sorts of amazing goodies from the store, starting the 20th (maybe sooner if we get everything done!), we’ll be giving out free poses to our group members DAILY. They’ll be under the Christmas tree for you. Right now, this collection includes 18 singles poses, and two couples. We’ll be announcing the heck out of the gifts, so keep an eye out for when you can pick those up!

The With Love Again Hunt – Cozy Chair

oOo Studio is so happy to be participating in The With Love Again Hunt.  We are thankful for all of our customers, and the great success the studio has had this year!  The hunt starts December 9th at 2pm SLT and ends January 6th.  Make sure to stop by and find this great chair, with 2 “Cozy” couple’s poses in it.

Vintage Fair has officially ended – Thank you all for making it the most successful event ever for the Studio!

The full decades collection will be available again in January in the main store.

Vintage Fair!

Ola has some great stuff to share:

This month, the Studio goes Retro glam in a BIG way. The mere mention of there being an excuse for me to indulge my inner flapper, nouveau debutante, Hollywood film star, fashion icon, and supermodel, and I’m there! So as soon as I knew we were going to be able to be one of the sponsors of the event, I started making poses. Lots and lots of poses. 14 sets of 7 singles, and they’re all available now at Vintage Fair! Your Rolls: Visit Vintage Fair

I want to say a special thanks right here to Trinetty Skytower. 15 images for any photographer is a major undertaking. But styling the backdrops and settings and establishing the feel and continuity of the finished product is an art and skill, and Trinetty has produced all of these photos in under a week (of sleepless nights and much planning!). I’m pleased as punch that she’s on board with us here at the Studio, she’s produced a body of really outstanding work for this project.

There are over 200 other stores represented, and they offer everything from clothing to makeup to hats to shoes to hair to furniture and accessories. The Fair opened today, Friday, and runs through December 6 at 4PM. Because it’s just opened, you can expect to see some pretty significant lag, so be aware before you go.

We’ll be choosing Round 3 contest winners and announcing the winners of the big money prizes on Sunday, and apologize for the delay. Thank you to all the wonderful folks who submitted images in every round! We didn’t forget about you!

Fame and Fortune Contest Winners: Round 2

Our apologies for keeping everyone waiting, and we hope you’re still preparing stuff for Round 3, which continues through next Sunday at 9PM. The three winners for Round 2 are:

Gorgeous color, amazing lighting, little details and the breath of intimacy made this one a clear winner for all our judges.

Second Prize:
Crush by Aric

Aric took this pose a step further in showing not only its unisexy ability (it’s originally a girl/girl pose), but finishing it gorgeously and giving a real sense of depth.

Third Prize:
Whisper by Alexxx.D (alex1985 diabolito)

The treatment on this pic gave it a fine-art feel, and the finishing details are simply gorgeous.

COUPLES POSES

Structure, shot by Kallisto Destiny. Originally created for a BOSL magazine image, it’s now available in the Studio. It’s a bootilicious kinda pose, but perfect for fashionistas with their chosen fashionisto.

Also new is the last vampire pose for the Halloween season. Trinetty Skytower mesmerizes again with Sacrifice. Dark and sensual, this comes with a vampire option for the feasting, and a cuddly option if you’re not into the blood drinking.

FAME AND FORTUNE CONTEST, ROUND 3

The next round of the competition has started. Six more poses are out, including one never-before-shot Mystery pose. Put your personal stamp on that one, since no one knows what it’s “supposed” to look like! Contest runs from October 23rd to November 6th at 9PM. We’ll announce Round 2 winners as soon as we can, so keep your fingers crossed for your faves!

FASHIONABLY LATE

For sale is the 7-pose Starstruck collection of singles. These are designed to show off boots and handbags, but none of the hands are set to anything other than relaxed (just so you know!). Grab a taxi over to FL, and pick these up for $125L through Saturday. These are bootilicious part deux.

VINTAGE FAIR

P.S. Sharp-eyed patrons of the Studio press might have noticed that Daron Brandeis published a signature image for a set of singles called Angst. They’ll be available next weekend. We had to get the vampire stuff in before Halloween for all your bloodsucking needs.

Group Gift Goodness

CONTEST CLARIFICATION
Apparently there was some confusion about the contest. Anyone may enter any pictures taken with a Round 2 pose, regardless of whether they have entered or won the previous round. The final contest judging will take into account all winners from all three rounds, no matter who the photographers are. We are after great photos, so please feel free to enter your best.

We are delighted to see the pictures already posted for this round in the Flickr group, and because of this clarification, we will extend the contest end date/time to Saturday, October 22nd at 9PM, just in case some folks didn’t realize they could enter. If you’re wanting to, you’ve still got plenty of time to get your entries in.
