Fame and Fortune Contest Winners: Round 2

Our apologies for keeping everyone waiting, and we hope you’re still preparing stuff for Round 3, which continues through next Sunday at 9PM. The three winners for Round 2 are:

First Prize:

Gorgeous color, amazing lighting, little details and the breath of intimacy made this one a clear winner for all our judges.

Second Prize:
Crush by Aric

Aric took this pose a step further in showing not only its unisexy ability (it’s originally a girl/girl pose), but finishing it gorgeously and giving a real sense of depth.

Third Prize:
Whisper by Alexxx.D (alex1985 diabolito)

The treatment on this pic gave it a fine-art feel, and the finishing details are simply gorgeous.

Group Gift Goodness

CONTEST CLARIFICATION
Apparently there was some confusion about the contest. Anyone may enter any pictures taken with a Round 2 pose, regardless of whether they have entered or won the previous round. The final contest judging will take into account all winners from all three rounds, no matter who the photographers are. We are after great photos, so please feel free to enter your best.

We are delighted to see the pictures already posted for this round in the Flickr group, and because of this clarification, we will extend the contest end date/time to Saturday, October 22nd at 9PM, just in case some folks didn’t realize they could enter. If you’re wanting to, you’ve still got plenty of time to get your entries in.

We are thrilled to say we are one of 8 sponsors of the first ever Vintage Fair, starting November 11th. Ola’s been making poses like a fiend, and we will be nearly doubling our stock of singles sets for this event. We’re excited, and look forward to showing you all the new things.

Newness!

The Studio released two super-steamy new releases earlier this week!

First, the very decadent Communion, which Trinetty Skytower treated to a very Vampire Lestat view. This is sumptuousness at its finest. Whether you’re a vampire or not, this is a close hold pose of passion.

Second is the long-awaited release of Strawberry Singh’s version of Troika, a three-woman pose which, like Girlies 6, is almost made for the hints of nudity it suggests but doesn’t show. She shot two versions both of which are outrageously yummy.

The Royal Living Pumpkin Hunt continues through Friday, so pick up this couple’s set while it’s still available for only 45L.

Also just a little reminder….

Round 2 of the Fame and Fortune Contest began Wednesday, and will conclude Wednesday the 19th. The poses are marked for 125L sale. Qualify in this round to be a contender for the big money!

Fame and Fortune Contest Winners & New Round Announced

Happy hump day! Exciting news at the Studio today:

First, we want to say thank you to all the wonderful folks who made gorgeous images of the first round of pose entries. We spend a ton of time trying to make a decision, there was so much talent on display!

We chose three winners who will receive store gift certificates and advance to the finals for the big money. Those lucky winners are:

First prize:
Adonaira’s version of Repose

Stunning work, magnificent lighting and a polished result. This one blew us all away.

Second prize:
LostBoi’s Eden

The colors here are spectacular, and it gave just the right feeling of softness and safety and love.

Third prize:
Owen Landar’s Precious

We all loved the out of the box thinking and this image carries emotion with it.

Second, the next round of the Fame and Fortune Contest starts at 9AM. We’ve put out another 6 poses (at half price!) for your consideration, and you’ll have until October 19th at 9PM to submit your photos via the flickr group. We’ll choose three more winners before we load up the final round of pics, and then choose the grand prize winner.

This week’s  new release is another couples pose!  Eclipse, is a great pose that you can pair with any chair you’ve got on hand.  Plus, you can dress it up, or make it more casual depending on your mood.

Just a reminder to everyone that the Fame & Fortune contest has officially started today at oOo Studio!

oOo Studio is VERY excited to share the details of our upcoming photography contest:

We will be running a series of three smaller contests, with three winners each which will lead up to a final contest with three grand prize winners!

Contest Details:

During each series there will be 6-8 of our older poses set out for HALF price, these will be the poses for submission in the contest. You will have 2 weeks to enter your submission. (If you already own one of the poses that is for sale, please feel free to use it for your contest entry.)

Prize Details:

Each round, our panel of judges will pick a first, second and third place winner to advance to the final competition. Round winners will receive oOo Studio gift certificates for 1000L, 750L and 500L, respectively. After the third round concludes, the 9 winners from the rounds will compete for the big prizes: 8,000L grand prize, 4,500L runner up, and 2,500L for the judges choice.

How to Participate:

1. We’ll announce in the oOo Studio groups, blog and Flickr when the poses are available for purchase in the Studio and the dates for allowed submissions.

2. Photographers may enter up to one photo per pose in each round. Photos should be either 1200×1200 (square) or 1024×768 (portrait or landscape).

3. Post your picture to Flickr and then add it to the oOo Studio pool (http://www.flickr.com/groups/ooostudio) with the title: oOo Fame and Fortune Contest: Round 1 (2 or 3). Only correctly named images will be considered during each judging round.

4. Photo editing is encouraged. This is a competition for photography, creativity and to show the Studio poses in their best light, so judging emphasis will be on the photos that make the most of the poses, not just the most elaborate or highly-edited images.

5. Submissions should be tasteful. There are only a couple risque-type poses, and they will be in the Round 3 pool and will be marked on the vendor. We love a tasteful nude, so if the atmosphere of your picture calls for it, hints of the goodies (not outright display) will still be considered.

Fine Print

Judges picks will be announced in the group and on the photos in Flickr and are final. This is a photography contest, not a popularity one, so good results will beat out photographer/model popularity. oOo Studio reserves the right to use any submitted images for marketing or vendor purposes, and will credit photographers. Judges will not be allowed to participate in the competition.

New Release: Provoke Couples Pose

This week’s new release is an intimate couples pose – Provoke.  There is something very close and sensual about this one, and of course Trinetty Skytower did an excellent job photographing it for  us:

In addition to this news, we also want to remind everyone that the oOo Studio Fame & Fortune contest starts TOMORROW!  You will be able to purchase poses for the contest starting at 9am SLT on September 18th.

New Release: Steady On

Over the weekend oOo Studio released another new pose, this time with a gorgeous picture by Kallisto Destiny for Steady, now available in the Studio’s Stands section.

I’d also like to take a second to let everyone know that we are planning  for a photo contest the Studio is holding, we are just finalizing details, but it is going to be a GREAT contest with fantastic prizes.  PLUS,  we’ll be having a sale on select items as part of the contest. You won’t want to miss it.
